This month, Kansas Hispanic & Latino American Affairs Commission Executive Director Steve Cisneros will be our speaker. Mr. Cisneros will be speaking about the commission and its important work in the Governor's office. A lunch buffet is available for $11, price includes drink, tax, and tip. You will need to pay at the door. Cash is preferred. There is parking available in the lot to the immediate west of the building as well as to the north. It is recommended that you arrive early, as the room fills fast!

The Kansas Hispanic and Latino American Affairs Commission (KHLAAC) is proud to be part of the Governor's office. The Commission is a seven member body appointed by political leaders in Kansas . The Commission serves as a liaison for the Kansas Hispanic and Latino Community and the Office of the Governor. The Commission addresses public policy concerns primarily in the areas related to education, health, and business. The Commission works closely with the Kansas African American Affairs Commission (KAAAC) as well as other state agencies in order to improve the lives of all Kansans.
